Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin layers of biocompatible porcelain placed over the visible surface of the teeth. With this one treatment you can correct the color, shape, and overall appearance of your teeth and resolve a variety of cosmetic and structural problems.

Porcelain veneers are a popular option for a variety of cosmetic dental problems, including:

  • Surface damage, such as pitting
  • Cracks and chips
  • Deep stains
  • Slight crookedness
  • Unevenness in shape and size
  • Small gaps between teeth

We use our high-quality porcelain veneers not only as a cosmetic treatment, but also as an integral element of many of our full mouth reconstruction procedures and to make fine adjustments in restoring or maintaining proper alignment of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Porcelain veneers done with CEREC

We use our state-of-the-art CEREC technology to make the procedure for porcelain veneers easier than ever. At Nature’s Design Dental in Delta, BC, your porcelain veneer procedure is painless and quick, and usually completed during a single office visit.

Our first step will be to prepare your teeth and take a precise impression to be used as a template to create your new veneers.

We will then enter this custom information into our CEREC 3 system, which will automatically create perfectly fitted porcelain veneers designed exactly to your specifications.

We will slightly shave your tooth enamel to make room for the added thickness of your new veneers and to ensure a tight, secure fit.

Then we will temporarily attach the veneers and make any fine adjustments necessary

Finally, we will permanently bond the veneers to your teeth using a specially calibrated beam of high-intensity light to harden the bonding.
